Out In McAllen

I’ve been asking pretty much everyone I know, well, a simple question. “Do you ask you bf/gf or potential bf/gf how many people they’ve had sex with?” I’ve gotten allot of answers and it’s always nice to listen to who people have to say.

What they had to say:

Dude 1 – Well, no. I don’t wanna know. Wait, yes, I guess I do, I’m not sure, I just don’t want to end up regretting anything, you know?

Jr says: “urmmm ok, thx”

Dude 2 – At some point in the relationship, yea I guess I do ask, and then some just don’t wanna know or tell you for that matter. Some tell you right off the bat and don’t give you time to ask and them, it’s not something I think about but like I said, it comes up.

Dude 3 – Yes, I ask allot of questions! How many guys has he f!%$ed, how many he’s dated, did he use protection, with how many, should I worried about catching anything! I can’t help but ask.

Jr says: “haha that’s great, seriously.”

My thoughts:

I don’t have anything set in concrete when it comes to asking, it’s usually just something I’m curious about. I usually let others do the asking before I open my mouth unless something screams “dirty dirty slut!” but for the most part it’s not something I won’t discuss unless I feel the dudes cool with it and like dude #3 up there I really think that knowing what you’re getting into (no pun intended) is the best idea.

Ofcourse there’s always the fact that if you ask you’ve gotta’ be prepared to get the same question tossed at you, if you’re gonna’ fumble around it or lie then why the hell even ask?

Time and time again I’ve gotten both sides of the spectrum with the “I wonder what he thinks about me now?” and “Ohhh gosh he didn’t seem like the type!” statements and I can’t help but laugh my ass off most of the time and say “its just a number” knowing full well it’s more.

I’ll just end this somewhat awkward post with a simple request, whether you ask or not… keep it safe.
