Motus - Light EP

Motus - Light EP

With a new EP out Motus is quickly becoming a must listen to for me. Their EP “Light,” is compiled of four awesome songs that’ll get you moving, singing, thinking and simply enjoying their wonderful music and lyrics.

From their softer and deeper track, Charol Bryon, they also offer some pick-me-ups. Only at Night, Truth, and The Pulse of Ame round are the other 3 songs on the EP.

Electro-goodness is the best way for me to describe Motus, based out of Hamburg Motus describe their selves as:

[…]three guys from Hamburg / Germany. They make electronic pop-music. Their love and hearts are dedicated to music and synths.
Motus was founded in summer 2006, when Mike and Arne met at a friends studio for some music stuff. It just happened that both realised, that they had the same taste in music. So it was just a minute to think, that this should work out, as both were making synth-music for years. And so a week later Mike and Arne found themselves writing songs together…
Today Motus is enlarged by Nils on the drums. It just came, that Mike and Arne were searching for some support musicians. Just by chance they got an answer from Nils, who was searching for a new band to play with. He liked the stuff and came on board…
Take a listen, add them as your myspace friends and support this great trio. FYI feel free to not point out Erasure on their friends list. ;)
